Sherman, west of new apartments

This road is under the jurisdiction of the City of Royal Oak. Pothole patching occurs on a regular basis by RODPS although the road, which was constructed over the old commuter train tracks requires a complete overhaul. Plans to reconstruct the road were developed nearly 10 years ago, however the City has not been able to obtain the necessary funding, roughly 1,5 million dollars to perfom the necessary construction.

Then why did they resurface only the North side of Sherman from the DTE Substation to Maple, so many years ago?

DTE did work on this section of road, and since so has Amber Apartments. The both were required to repair the sections of the road that they disturbed.
