12/19/2012 Thanks so much for your communication. State Health will put free baits and poisons out if you show them where you have seen the rats. If you dial 804-205-3912 they will meet you there and let you point out places you have seen rats so they can help to rid you of them.

I think you are misreading the concern. I do not own this restaurant. VA restaurant rules and regulation require all open door and window spaces to be covered or another method is use to keep out flies, bugs, roaches, rats mice, etc. A restaurant inspector needs to be notified so that they can go by and inspect this establishment.
The restaurant should be required to take care of the problem, not a neighbor or tax dollars.

Richmond Code Enforcement looked at this location and they noted there is no violation at the property at this current time - Restaurant concerns of this nature can also be reported to VA State Health at 804-205-3912. State Health will probably have several questions they will want to ask. This can be done anonymously.
