Description
Food delivery trucks (& linen trucks & others) repeatedly block the public sidewalk when making deliveries or pick-ups at the University Club (420 Summit Ave, St. Paul, MN).
This is next to the busy intersection of Summit Avenue and Ramsey Street. Pedestrians are forced to walk into traffic to get around the trucks.
Telephone calls to "parking enforcement" have not helped -- phone receptionists suggest that the trucks have no place else to park; much later, when officers arrive, the trucks have long since disappeared.
Inconsiderate drivers of large trucks are the biggest problem. Smaller trucks could easily park in the Club's driveway without blocking traffic or pedestrians.

Please note, big trucks serving the University Club have been creating hazards for a LONG time. Depending on where drivers choose to stop, their trucks completely block the public sidewalk, completely block the bike lane, partially block traffic lanes, park in a posted "no parking" zone, park next to a fire hydrant, and dangerously block the view of drivers trying to enter Summit from Arundel (side street).
