Why has this been closed? The street is in dire need of repair. Does this mean the street will soon be repaired?

I doubt it'll be resurfaced soon - it was last resurfaced in 2007 and the pavement condition rating is 72 (out of 100) when it was last tested in 2013 (Click on the segments on this map for the pavement condition info: http://ral.maps.arcgis.com/apps/OnePane/basicviewer/index.html?appid=593854f94e9049e28ee8966117a5ccd6)

Thanks, but there has been a huge amount of construction on Oberlin since 2013. The big trucks filled with concrete and building materials have really taken their toll on the road. It is truly like riding on a washboard, and it's really more than a few pot holes. How can we get the city to look at it again?

Sometimes cities will require new developments to provide roadway improvements in exchange for being allowed to develop at that location. Not sure if that's the case with the new apartment building at Oberlin & Smallwood (doubt it though). I haven't driven that road in a while but from your picture, the road condition doesn't look all too bad (see some cracking but nothing terribly structurally with regards to the pavement) - I'll pay attention next time I'm going to Harris Teeter. Hope that helps! I wish SeeClickFix would be a little more descriptive about why issues are closed or how they've been addressed.
