Thank you for reporting this issue. We are aware that this situation exists in many locations throughout the Village. Unfortunately the winter weather has forced us to suspend the leaf collection program indefinitely and convert all trucks to snow and ice removal readiness.

Localized flooding will happen. A leaf vac truck isn't needed. The end loader that Jennifer Hughes promised is. If these leaves aren't cleared, several houses will have flooding and huge slabs of ice in the road. Last winter our drunk neighbor slid into our yard. Two years ago he knocked over our mailbox. I'm afraid that the ice created by the leaves will create an even more dangerous situation.

Leaves were to be piled in the parkway, putting them in the road will cause them to end up on the catch basins. If heavy rains do occur we do send crews out to clear catch basins to avoid flooding issues.
