Illegal dumpers are only concerned with signs if there is enforcement. Currently the only enforcement in Oakland for illegal dumping is if a citizen witness's the crime and files a civil complaint though the Law Corps who are part of the Oakland City Attorneys office. lawcrops@oaklandcityattorney.org 238-6517

Reporting the illegal dumping is not easy and made more difficult when interacting with this office. The entire onus is on the reporter witness who is asked if they are willing to go to court rather than just provide information to the law corps.

I totally agree I have done it two times, Without more than one witness and photo, video evidence one is open to being sued by the illegal dumpers. OPD, PWD, Waste Management and our City leaders are doing nothing.
