There are multiple active camp sites, including this one, along the river side of the new bike trail and access road. They are tucked deep in vegetation with foot trails into each site. Similar camps are on the other side of the levee at the triangle parcel adjacent to I-80 & the RR. This site was replanted with native vegetation by the city of Sacramento and is especially vulnerable to fire or other human impacts. Please follow-up with each site.
