A this unsafe tree ever going to be cut down. Safety before u beautify the town common. Don't wait till this tree hurts someone or kills someone.

From what the photo shows it doesn't look like this tree is anywhere near the Needham Town Common. Incidentally, only a trained arborist or tree surgeon is qualified to categorically state that this tree is an imminent threat to public safety.

Thomas please don't tell me how to do my very difficult job. Thank you. As you may know I juggle many balls at once, Blue tree etc., some maybe only a small few you are aware of. That is to be very respectful. I am aware of this issue and also aware of many other things that will play a part in this tree removal. This will be the last time I repeat this to you. Do not question me when it comes to safety, for I don't appreciate it at all. I live and work in this Town along with my wife and children. There is not person in this Town that thinks more of safety than me.

This issue will be closed when schedule, equipment, timing and a police detail all coincide.

This is the first time in my rather extensive observation of and experience with the happenings on this site that I have had the occasion and/or opportunity to witness someone who is in fact the person tasked with doing the real, hard work to keep the town ship-shape actually speak up. Even more so, to illuminate so very clearly, straightforwardly, openly and honestly the point at which enough finally became more than enough, and that having been the subject/victim of being continually nudged, badgered and harassed on here and in such a public manner about one specific issue by just a single individual, especially when the matter at hand happens to be as subjectively questionable and technically complex as this one, is completely uncalled for and truly beyond the pale. I applaud you, sir, for firmly standing your ground.
