Description
Since the street has been re-paired. Two lanes East and two lanes West (some engineer sitting at his desk decided) that this re-vamping of beautiful historic Hollywood Blvd. would prevent accidents........The traffic is like I-95 it has at my end of the Blvd. traffic is 70 mpr. Why did'nt they just put some traffic lights up?? Now what do we do with this situation the DOT created?

Thank you for your e-mail to Mayor Peter Bober advising of your concerns with traffic on Hollywood Boulevard since the FDOT repaving. Your e-mail was forwarded to City Engineer Jonathan Vogt who advised the following:
"Speeding on this corridor would be a Police Enforcement issue and I have forwarded the concern to Lt. Scott Pardon at the Police Department. The corridor is still under construction and currently the Boulevard is being repaved and traffic is down to one lane in both directions."
If you have further traffic calming related issues, HPD Lt. Scott Pardon requested that you contact him directly via telephone #(954)967-4567.
Thank you again for your e-mail to Mayor Bober.
Respectfully,
