Description

During afternoon rush hour the intersection at Main and Williams street (near Stop & Shop) gets blocked by cars on Main street going north. The cars continue from Main street and rather than waiting near the stop line near the Mobil station, they continue on and end up in the middle of the intersection, the light then changes and the people coming from Williams street across towards Stop & Shop cannot go because the intersection is blocked. The law is supposed to be for cars to not block the intersection, for some reason at this intersection it is a very common occurence. One of 2 things needs to happen. 1) adjust the lights at Elm and Main to allow some of these cars to get through that intersection, or 2) have the police patrol the area and ticket the individuals breaking the law.
