Description

This is extremely frustrating. I have called the police once already when the dumping occurred this summer. They came out and did NOTHING.
This is the second time these neighbors have dumped. This summer when they had a wedding in their backyard they dumped some of their junk across the street just over the crest of the hill. This included several black plastic bags, ashes and other things which were not biodegradable. My neighbor talked to them and they did nothing about it and left it all there. My neighbor cleaned up some of it which he should not have. Last weekend they put a big empty TV box out at the curb for recycling and it blew across the street and they left it there. I put it in with my trash just yesterday. Now for this weeks issue they had a broken up white piece of furniture in front of their house and were told by a neighbor that it would not be taken in the regular trash pick up, SO where did it end up but back across the street in what they feel is their private dump.. There is also a toy truck over there.
Can't they be fined for littering? We try to keep our houses and our neighborhood looking good and then we have someone do this not ONCE, TWICE but THREE Times and it is reported and nothing is done.
It has been a waste of our time to report it when the police come out and won't do anything. LET'S SEE WHAT THE CITY WILL DO, COME ON AND PLEASE STEP UP. MAYBE OUR ALDERMAN CAN DO SOMETHING.
