Description

The new speed bumps on Southlake Dr. on either side of Lakewind Way are a disaster. They are causing frequent near accidents because drivers don't pay attention to the fact that you can still go 15 mph over them. Instead, drivers are coming to a complete stop and then slowly rolling over them. This is insanity. I'm going to rear end somebody one of these days. They make zero sense. They are only about 100 yards from a stop sign so nobody is speeding at that point anyways. This is totally misguided and totally inept to have placed these. If you want to make Southlake Dr. safer, get the police out and ticket all the people that blatantly roll through the stop signs including Lakewind Way, which I happen to live on. I am so disappointed at the lack of sense with these speed bumps. Please remove them immediately.
