ATTENTION RESIDENTS: The water main has been repaired at Allen and Bellevue. The water is safe to use and drink, but we recommend that residents wait at least one hour to use your faucets and before you do laundry in the affected areas. This will allow sediment in the main to settle. If your do notice discoloration of the water, you can either turn off the water and wait an hour for the sediment in the lines to settle or run the COLD water for several minutes until it clears. We also recommend that you do not use hot water so that sediment does not run through the water heater.
There is nothing harmful in the sediment in the water and it is safe to consume.
