Description

Several weeks ago a shopping cart (from nearby Stop & Shop) was left on a walkway running adjacent to and belonging to 477 Elm Street, a residential complex managed by Kensington Square (Community Builders LLC)--most likely the cart was left there by a resident of 477 Elm. A facilities crew goes by 477 Elm every week to take out the trash bins for pick-up, using the aforementioned walkway. No one returned the shopping cart to Stop & Shop, so it sat there for weeks. Then some time later a second shopping cart was left on the same walkway. Kensington Square was notified of this situation. No action was taken. A few days ago a plastic bag full of garbage was left in one of the shopping carts; then some time yesterday that same bag full of garbage was ripped open with the contents scattered inside the cart, including uneaten food, kitchen waste, a medication bottle and recyclable items. This inconvenience has now evolved into a health risk. Kensington Square must take action immediately. Had they acted sooner, the situation would not have digressed to the current state of affairs.
