This road is still in bad condition - nothing has been done. The dips in the road are so bad that drivers will cross the double-yellow in order to avoid them, and by doing so, run oncoming traffic off the road. There is also a section that floods when a heavy rain comes through.

James, Metro has a process to report pothole repairs. The process involves reporting it to Metro Public Works at(615) 862-8750,or call 3-1-1, report it on the online https://www.nashville.gov/Public-Works/Forms/Request-Customer-Service.aspx. They will assign a tracking number. If you report via this process, your CM will receive a copy of all request. We have the ability to monitor these request to completion. While this is convenient, this is not a Metro Nashville site. It requires a Metro customer service person to sign up and visit the site.

Jacobia, shouldn't someone with Metro Public Works monitor this site? Looks like they could take advantage of this technology.

I did receive a reply today from Sara Cain with Public Works: "Per a previous request, a traffic engineer noted in October 2013 that this location qualifies for paving under the Metro Public Works paving program. It is currently on the Paving List and will be scheduled as additional funding becomes available."

Doesn't Metro have available funds for routine maintenance of roads? Why not?

This road is finally being repaired! Such a noticeable difference. I'm not having to dodge oncoming traffic as much and it's so nice. I do hope that the lanes get a little bit wider once the final layer of asphalt is laid, but hey, I'll take the pothole and dip repair for now!
