Description

At least once every week or few weeks, CSX rudely parks a dozen or so train cars that are stacked with green 'Waste Management' containers. This smells awful, fouling the air for anyone walking, biking, or enjoying the Schuykill river trail. Granted, this is not a truck idling, but if you have any qualms about whether this is offensive air pollution, go take a walk any day the train is parked their. I have tried calling CSX and Philly 311 and they can produce no answers on whether it is Mayor Nutter's policy to allow tens of thousands of pounds of trash to be parked in one of the center most points of the city. Yuck. Tell CSX to park it elsewhere. The company otherwise does a great job of partnering with the community by trying to not block the trail entry point.
