Okay, so it wasn't just me. I noticed this too, for sure there was a higher level of little punks hanging around that corner store than usual. Somethings gotta be done.

More specific information would be helpful on this issue - do you have a list?
Please reopen this if you have specific issues that need to be resolved (other than clothing colors). If the issue is a larger number of young people who appear to have nothing to do, that seems to be a more systematic problem than what can be addressed here. The underemployment/unemployment rates among young people in this area are extremely high.
I'd agree that quality of life enforcement or more walking beats in the area could help make the Avenue feel more secure - if litter, panhandling or personal security is a problem here, fixing that needs to be prioritized because job creation depends on having clean and safe neighborhoods.
