This has yet to be acknowledge by the city and it should have been called in to public safety 203 946-6316 because it is a safety issue, then posted to alert others and to have a record it was called in. In the post you should mention that it was called in. I called this in after reading the post around 9:50 PM about five hours after it was posted, hopefully there was not an accident.
Heights, you posted that the city should pick these items immediately so I would to know why you did not call this in.

I attempted to call it in and was placed on hold for quite a while and ended the call. Another poster plced a call in to the police prior to my call attempt.

If your call would prevent an an accident it wpuld have been worth the wait. This site is not monitor 24/7 by the city. As you can see your post was has not been acknowledged by the city.

XYZ, my call attempt was the second call. Another seeclickfix participant called in the issue to the police over an hour before I called. Are you suggesting that the second call would have increased their response time? I am fully aware of the monitoring of this site by the city. My post was supporting and adding pictures for visual purposes. In my experience on this site, it seems as though pictures get quicker acknowledgement by the city once they get around to checking in the complaint. Thanks for your advice as it can be useful for others to know.

When you end the call, the litter bugs win and that public safety clerk's payroll goes unjustified. Remember super SCF'ers, there is no "i" in New Haven. Be sure to call your local Adler person as well because knowing is half the battle!! G I Joeee!

There is a good chance that my second call is the reason that it was cleaned up when I went by this morning. As you can see the city still has not acknowledged this on See Click Fix. In fairness I probably would not have called it in if like you I read the post that stated it was called in.
