Description

There is a blind curve on Dorothy St approx where Montclair intersects it. This curve has houses parking on the street in the blind curve. Specifically a blue Chrysler convertible and a silver Honda Civic. They park on opposite sides of the road causing traffic coming from east to go into opposite lane to get around the car while the other direction is doing the same thing causing cars who can't see each other into a head on collision course. I've had to install a dash camera so WHEN I get hit head on I have video evidence of what has happened. The house with the Honda Civic has a hedge of trees that if removed would stop the problem of not seeing oncoming traffic or have them stop parking in a blind curve on both sides. You can see the oil slick where the Chrysler gets parked. It also gets more interesting when the mail truck parks this curve as well. This is a traffic situation in a cut through that is going to injure or kill a driver because residents are using on street parking to control traffic speed. Please address this or explain why this set up that endangers drivers is ok. I used to beep to try and warn people I was coming through but the Chrysler then started driving by my house honking horn at night in "retaliation" for trying to navigate the traffic hazard they created. Now I'm turning to the town for help fixing it.
