Description

Cars are parking on either side of York Rd near the intersection of Somerset. By parking on both sides, it reduces the road to one lane. And being so close to the intersection (which is already backed up for those cars waiting in line to cross Grove for St. Catherine's), it makes it very difficult to navigate through. Many of these cars are marked "Seniors", so the cars are there all day (until St. Catherine's releases).

Today two girls parked on the opposite side in front of the fire hydrant.

Every day someone is parked in the No Parking section at the corner of Somerset and York (on Somerset).

Every day cars are parked too close to the intersection of Somerset and Grove - making it difficult to see the stop sign and safety pull onto Grove.

A serious parking review needs to be completed - please observe during school hours. The road should be safe and passable. The appropriate parking limit for intersections should be marked and enforced. No Parking section should be enforced. It is a daily occurrence.
