Description

The Wesleyan Church (now known as Surrendered Life Church) congregation has a request. With many or our older members pulling out onto A Drive N carefully, but slowly, they are finding that traffic heading east around that blind curve are bearing down on them before they realize it. Also, with commercial trucks with long trailers pulling out of the other blind driveway just to the west of the church (shooting range/old gravel pit) there appears to be an accident just waiting to happen. We would like to ask that either a "Caution, blind driveway(s) ahead sign be installed where you deem appropriate east of the limited sight distance sign west of Talmadge Creek or at the very least, change the limited sight sign out with a blind drive sign. We believe motorists would be better warned of the possible danger just ahead and be looking for traffic entering A Drive N from those blind drives, as opposed to the current more generic sign. We would hate to see an accident happen or worse, someone injured, when such an inexpensive solution might have prevented it.
