Well, here is another one. Pole 4456 on West Rock Avenue between Chapel and Westwood. Was called into the City (apparently UI does not take care of this). Naturally nobody answered the phone so left a detailed message on the machine. Nobody called back and the street light still alternates between being off and blinking (cycling). Maybe they can all be fixed at once.

Correct. The City owns Street Lights in the city and there is one guy who coordinates this work. I'm waiting to hear back if he's up and running with scf.

Also, PLEASE report these as individual items via scf and not as just comments. Thanks.

UI owns the pole and were asked to have it removed. City has no say about the removal.

Seb is answering a different issue about "cut and kicked" poles like the one on the corner that was long ago hit by a car and then old one cut off and kicked over for new one to be placed. Old one can't be removed until everything has been transfered to replacement pole. And then utility will some day remove it. City does not currently have leverage to speed up removal of theses "cut and kicked poles".

The City has nothing to do with the removal of the wood UI pole on York Street. The decision was made by Yale and for what reasons I do not know.
