Description

The right eastbound lane on 7th before the Wood Street stoplight no longer seems to register cars. As a result, the eastbound light crossing Wood on 7th remains red and cars in that lane must wait through multiple light cycles until a car pulls up in the 2nd lane from the right. This is dangerous because those drivers, correctly assuming the light is broken, will at some point just drive through the red light, or they may reverse and try to go around via the USPS parking garage access road. This may be an artifact of the BART seismic retrofit a few years ago, during which the right lane was a right turn only lane--and thus shouldn't have triggered the light. That project has been done for several years now, though.
