Description
The wheelchair ramp is surrounded by a grassy uphill on all sides. A disabled person crossing the intersection cannot get anywhere else from there, and can't actually reach the ramp other than by crossing the street from the other side.
This is related to sidewalk being missing near that intersection.

The City of College Station has a Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenways Master Plan that identifies locations where sidewalks are needed. Sidewalks on Harvey Rd are proposed in that Plan where missing as you have requested. It is also identified as a short-term need. Funding, however, is currently unavailable for this project but the City continues to seek opportunities to meet needs identified.
This roadway is a apart of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) system. We will also forward your request on to them.
