If you go to use the park at dusk, but before it's pitch black out, the park is inhabited by a family of skunks. I was just walking my dog and a skunk the size of a small bear cub was about 20 feet away and we booked it. I think they live in the overgrown fallen tree over in the northwest corner of the park. Would be good for public use of this park if the skunks were removed. I've seen 4-5 of them running around in the grass at the same time...it's not just 1.
