I have tried several times to have " No parking signs from here to corner'' to no avail.

They have no parking signs from here to corner and they park in front of them!

You have to lit up with that for a whole 15 minutes a day?? Oh the horror.

The reason there is no parking at the corners is for visibility, so drivers can see clearly trying to enter or cross the road. It does not matter if you only stop there for one minute if you cause an accident at an already dangerous intersection. There is plenty of legal parking on the street it's just laziness that people can't walk 10 extra feet. Tell the guy I almost hit on the motorcycle because I could not see around the truck that was parked there that they were only parking there for a few minutes.

In response to PC 2.0's unwarranted sarcastic comment, it is those 15 minutes he dismisses, that is the reason that sign is put there. Most intersections around town do not have a No Parking here to Corner sign. They are put in School locations to provide safety for children and parents during that 15-minute drop-off and pick-up time. It is a common issue around the South School area also.
