Description

For several weeks, multiple vehicles have been routinely driving through the entrance to Russell Field, driving up the path, and parking in the backyard of 70 Clifton Street. While the property had a previous permit (Number: SCL-033082-2015) allowing for “Access to residential property backyard through City fence; removal of fence between lot & City park for renovation work,” the yard access is not being used for work but by residents to park. No work appears to have been happening at the property in two months. The permit also required that “Any damage to City of Cambridge property must be repaired and fully restored. Fence must be fully restored once job is completed. City of Cambridge property must be fixed and restored at the end of the project. A temporary fence must be put up when not accessing the property. Contractor must not allow any debris or construction materials on City property.” The residents are not using a temporary fence at any time, the substantial damage to city property has not been repaired, and the fence has not been replaced.
