Description

Lazy, irresponsible and inconsiderate pet owners are leaving their pets waste on the sidewalk and curb along the southside of the block. There is an apartment complex here in the 200 block of west Evergreen ave which may allow residents to own dogs. Residents of the Hill House on the north side of the 200 block of West Evergreen Ave. are not permitted to own dogs at all. The residents in the area that walk their dogs should be reminded that this is a violation of city ordinance and that they could be fined $300 for leaving their pet's waste on the street and sidewalk. Perhaps a sign should be placed in the area and an occasional police patrol could help to discourage this behavior.
