The town should be able to provide any type of useful information to renters, landlords and residents on the prevention and extermination of bed bugs.
After a adjoining neighbor in the building I was renting a unit in infested the building with bed bugs, calls to the town's Health and Building departments were useless.
The landlord, not knowing that normal bug pesticides do not work on bed bugs, made the situation worse.
With the increase in bed bug infestations, Wallingford included, the town should be proactive in getting useful information out to their residents.
Until I had become infested, I had no idea how difficult and expensive they are to get rid of.
