Description

Every time their is a game at Curt Flood field our one way street has to deal with our driveways being blocked. This car is parked right behind my car, yet their is parking on the street. If you ask for them to move when one is trying to drive somewhere they get upset and call us out of our name.

Maybe posting a "Do Not Block Driveway, violators will be towed away at vehicle owner's expense & risk" sign might deter people to park there? If they continue to park in front your driveway, it's best to call the police non-emergency at (510) 777-3333 for a faster response. Dear "Anonymous" - Your frustration is justified, but the Dept. of Pub. Works is not the answer! Meet and get to know your CRO (Community Resource Officer) the excellent Ofc. Kyle Cardana (kcardana@oaklandnet.com). Text or email Ofc. Cardana with an overview of these issues, and in real-time when they occur, so he can coordinate with the 21y patrol officers on duty at that moment to swing by and help you out! :-o
