Description
We have worked hard for over a year with lawn care services to keep up our lawn. Hsv workers came in and redid a curb we did not ask for and destroyed our lawn and cracked the sidewalk. All they did was come and throw grass weed and seed and straw. Is this all that the city will do in restoring our lawn? Are we as home owners suppose to absorb the cost of restoring the lawn to what it looked like before the city fixed a curb that we did not ask for or need repairs on? Before and after picture included.

I don't know. Sod is WAY more expensive than seed. At least you got seed! There were sections of curb replaced on Bob Wallace, and they only got fill dirt.
Also, you may not have asked for that section of curb to be replaced, but _several_ people have been asking for _years_ to have sidewalk ramps installed in your neighborhood because of the dips the developer? put in the curbs. Unfortunately for you, Huntsville finally settled these spots by replacing the dipped curbs.
