The smell is pervasive extending to the west of the Andersen Dr bridge. Part of the problem is the city does not consistently monitor the sewer filter on BOTH sides of Crabtree Creek.
After a significant weather event (flooding rain, hurricane) the city needs to check and change as needed the sewer filters.
I've lived here over 5 years. I've not seen Amy evidence the city changes the filters on the north side (non greenway) side of the creek.
The smell is its worst when its hot and the creek is low. My friends don't like to come to my home and sit outside. 😔

Whoever you are, Name Blocked 8008135, you are not helpful and quite annoying. If you can't contribute to resolving the problem then remain silent.
Yes, there are sewer aeration filters. They are on the manhole covers along the sewer line on both sides of Crabtree Creek. I also have 2 on the top of my house for the back flow from the city sewer line to my sewer vents.
Some of us actually do know what we are talking about. I've had discussions with City staff about the sewer filters in the past. So I have a bit of experience on this topic.
