Community Development will assign an inspector to check the property for violations of the grass and weed ordinance. This ordinance only requires the cutting of grass or weeds over 8 inches in height and consume an abundance of the yard. Community Development’s Inspector has checked this property and will be notifying the owner(s) / occupant(s) that they are in violation of the City's Grass and Weed Ordinance. This ordinance only requires the cutting of grass or weeds over 8 inches in height and consume an ABUNDANCE of the yard. We cannot require the trimming of bushes, shrubs, ornamentals, ivy or trees. A scheduled re-inspection of the property will be made upon the final date of the notice to insure compliance with the ordinance. Thank you for contacting us.
