This sire is not monitor 24/7 by the city . Safety issues should be reported by phone you can then post to alert other and to have a record that it was called in. In the post mention it was called in. I called the police after I read this post but it was eight hours after it was posted. The number I used was 203 946-6316.
It is up to you but I would not use my real name with photo on this site you do not know how people will react today. You can call See Click to change your screen name and remove your photo their phone is 800 369-9060
Mr. XYZ, Thanks for reporting the wire to police. It was not a live electrical wire but obviously a wire that was cut and someone neglected to take it off the pole.
As for my name and photo, I believe anonymous comments on the internet is one of the reasons the discourse is so nasty at times. I wouldn't post anything that I didn't want to be attributed to me, so I am fine with the picture and name being mine. With that said, to each is own. If you wish to remain anonymous, Mr. XYZ, go right ahead. But it would be nice to be able to thank you in person for your response to my comments. Maybe even say, "hi" at a community event.
