Description

Simple Solutions to Improving Flow / Flow Fairness:
-Northbound Kimball Bridge: Repaint Lanes to One Left Turn, One Straight, One Right Turn. (Current Left Lanes never fill up)
-Northbound Kimball Bridge: Increase light during A.M. Rush for Straight and Right Turn Traffic by 20-30 seconds. (Current East-West North Point Pkwy traffic always flows without back ups)
-Southbound Kimball Bridge: During P.M. Rush create fair flow opportunity for Southbound Kimball Bridge Traffic by limiting westbound traffic on North Point Parkway to left lane turn signal only and enforcing only one right lane turning from eastbound North Point Pkwy onto southbound Kimball Bridge. (Current eastbound drivers come down the straight lane, try to turn right onto Kimball and crowd the box. Current westbound drivers run the "straight" light and crowd the box. The result is that on a given Light sequence, dozens of cars from North Point Parkway access Kimball Bridge South, while only 2-10 cars traveling south on Kimball Bridge can get across North Point Parkway during their Light.)
