Since the new sewer is finished, one drives through clouds of sewer smell up and down El Cerrito. This was a feature near Merner Road for decades. But the hot spots now are mostly in the afternoon at Roblar, Hayne, real doosies at Bowhill and a real gem here today near Crystal Springs. I have 65 years experience as an El Cerrito sniffer. I doubt it is the creek, it is flowing good.
