Town green cleans them but only because no one else would if they didn't. It's not town greens responsibility but town green seems to pick up where the city fails us in so many places.

By the time I walked by an hour later, it was cleaned and power washed. Thank you town green! You guys do a great job and I recognize you have a lot of work to do!!

I do agree with @josh though, the city should be taking care of this. Our public transit facilities - buses and bus stops - need some serious improvement. Businesses and tenants are leaving downtown because people hate coming downtown and hate parking downtown. We have sub optimal alternative means to get downtown, so those with options, take the options (they drive or stay in the suburbs). This does not have to be so...

The Town Green crew is awesome! and they are the only entity that is keeping our downtown areas maintained clean of garbage and beautified with hanging plants which are fabulously groomed and watered. These crews deserve raises and praises! Those bus stops are embarrassingly disgusting as stated and should all be replaced with ones easier to maintain like the ones in NYC. They are decaying and keep the city looking rundown. Again if it weren't for the constant maintenance by the Town Green Crew, they would be uninhabitable to the transit riding public and just mini homeless shelters.
