The city does not monitor this site 24/7 and if this wire happen to be touching a high voltage wire it could be deadly This site is to report non safety issues and to document when you called in a safety issue and to alert others..
S: Street Sweeping Route 5

Good thing I am a licensed electrician that knows what I am talking about. Low voltage could be Comcast or Frontier. If the city is not monitoring the website 24/7 than this should change. How would I know the city is not monitoring all the time? This happens all the time when technicians just roll up the wire and don't secure it properly.
If the city doesn't monitor this website 24/7 than thats a major problem. It should be noted to the reporter. If it was a bigger issue I would have called the police department. As a licensed electrician I know what I am saying. Some technicians working for Comcast or Frontier leave old wiring coiled up in the air for no reasons. Its a major problem throughout the city and looks disgusting. I just took these photos as I walked down the street. Notice how it gets coiled up again?
Some city departments hardly if at all monitor this site this is especially true on the weekends and evenings, until that changes we have to use the phone. When in doubt call the police 203 946-6316. In some cases you should call 911.This site is to report non safety issues and to document when you called in a safety issue and to alert others.
Well now you know. If it was a safety issue I would of made a phone call to the proper department. Not going to argue with someone that clearly doesn't understand.
Yes, I don't understand what the term low voltage means. Does it mean it will give a little shock instead of a big one? You did not understand how See Click Fix works and now you do because I explain it. I still do not know what low voltage means because you did not explain it.
I just said Comcast or Frontier. If in doubt you can always use the Internet. :) Comcast or Frontier does offer it. Call them up. Or your outside low voltage wire may be hanging down the floor.
I took the time to inform you about the monitoring of this site by the city. It would be nice to let me and others known what is a low voltages wire or cable.
We are trying to delineate issues that are current and need the city's attention to resolve and as a result a number of historical issues are being closed. If your issue remains and needs to be addressed by the city, please open as a new See Click Fix issue with updated information and details. Thank you.

I am not an electrician so how would I know this is not a safety issue from reading your comments?
