Description

Northbound traffic on Ocean Avenue do not always know that the main route turns east (right) onto Castle Hill Avenue. Drivers new to the area often continue straight onto Ella Terrace. Cars and bicycles travelling west on on Castle Hill around the curve to southbound on Ocean Avenue are in danger when this happens. One frequent cyclist from Newport was thrown from her bicycle to avoid a near-collision between two cars at this intersection, as a northbound car crossed Castle Hill Ave onto Ella Terrace thinking it was the continuation of Ocean Avenue.
