Locust Tree on Franklin Street at E. Chestnut has branches that are knocking off 120-year-old slate shingles from A-gable of 100 E. Chestnut house. Too high for me to trim properly although I could try cutting main branch, hoping it won't hit power line. Can Boro trim its tree? Will Boro pay for repair to home for damage that is worsening with each heavy wind? Shade Tree Commission has not yet addressed the oak stump in same location. I assume they have budget shortage.
