this is the west end of "rails to trails"
what is needed is a " drive around lane" so that east bound traffic does not have to stop when someone tries to turn left at the " TTR"
often traffic backs up onto the bridge and tourist often have to "panic stop" because they had no idea it was even there . ( blind.., and around the corner )

This parking area needs closing. There is no signage, designated parking, or anything else. I know of 5 fatailities within 100yds of this site. Chatham county will be sued eventually and they will have no defense. Who allows this to continue?

east bound traffic coming off the bull river bridge takes you into a blind curve because of the vegetation on the right side of the road, this blocked veiw does not allow you to see cars that are stopped and waiting to turn in the small parking area for the rails to trails, there are numerous skid marks of cars trying to avoid cars turning in, this area needs a turn lane for both east and west bound vehicles
