If there is a plan to implement a long term solution, please install a temporary one, as there is currently no way to do a safe left turn for cyclists.

There is no safe way to go straight either. Opposing traffic has a green left turn arrow which typically means they don't have worry about oncoming traffic.

This intrersection is very bike unfriendly

There should be a safe window at the same time as pedestrians are able to cross from the fountain plaza to 1 Broadway. The problem is signaling this to bikers.

^ The pedestrian cross timing for the plaza to 1 broadway is the same as microsoft to the plaza. Also, it would be awkward and potentially dangerous for left-turning cars from b'way to 3rd to have bicycles coming from an unexpected direction. These movements should be done separately. Also, you'd have a conflict with left-turning cars and left-turning bikes going from plaza to b'way north.

I agree that it's awkward in many ways, and IMO those pedestrian signals should be offset from each other. But I don't imagine there is any plan for cars to be heading north from Main into that intersection. The street isn't wide enough for the two bike paths!
