Description
Students are parking in the street, making it difficult for vehicles to drive down 1200 block of Catherine St or pass each other. There is a no parking sign at corner lot where they used to park on private property. Can something be done?

The 1200 block of Catherine street is actually restricted parking to Carver residents with the annual parking pass. However, the City has elected not to put the signs up since there is technically no legal parking on the street. However I agree with you on the part where the fence is up near Harrison street. It's horrible, and in the snow, almost impassable. Most of the cars parked there are people who live on Clay or Harrison, and would be eligible for the parking permits for their own street if they just paid the money.
I talked to RPD when they came out a couple of weeks ago to ticket cars facing the wrong way. They did ticket the car parked at the no parking sign, but since there is only one sign, that is the only one they can ticket.
So looks like for now unless the city wants to put up signage, the only way to get them is to ticket the wrong way facing ones.
