Description
North bound on Whitehall vehicle in left turn lane no longer trips traffic light to change during off hours (eg; 5am) so that by not recognizing vehicle light never changes until vehicle going northbound through intersection stops and trips light. I assume wire is broken in pavement.

I have contacted East Norriton Township twice regarding this matter. Once on 3-12-10 and again this morning.

As of today 6:30am myself and four other cars wait for light and noticed that problem is not fixed. Becoming very annoying and unsafe as the longer it takes to fix, the more daily commuters realize that they have to run a red light in order to get through the intersection.

As posted before: I have contacted East Norriton Township twice regarding this matter. Once on 3-12-10 and again this morning. (April 15, 2010) Received reply from Mr. Doug Jones. THEN, last Thursday, (April 29, 2010) as I was traveling past that intersection, I saw men working on the control box. I stopped and walked over to them, asked them if they were fixing the problem. They said they had received no information about any problem, and were just inspecting the box. I told them of the problem and told them that I had contacted East Norriton on two occasions already. Since another person wants this fixed only 6 hours ago, I guess East Norriton has no desire to remedy the situation.??

5/12/2010 Traffic light appears to be allowing for left turns independent of N/B traffic on Whitehall Rd.

Seems to work fine now. I even received an email from Mr. Doug Jones from E. Norriton asking to be informed if problem recurrs.
