Description

The traffic signals at the intersection of Anvers Rd and Witchduck Rd were flashing Yellows and Reds last night. I wanted to express my opinion that this is actually preferred and hope that it will become standard. The vast majority of the times that I want to turn into my neighborhood, the turn signal is red but there are no cars in sight. Having a flashing yellow turn signal would let us turn in our neighborhood without needlessly waiting at a red light.

I realize city criteria is that flashing yellows are not allowed for more than two lanes, but that road has an unusually long sight line down the oncoming lane that should be considered.
