Description
Concrete and rebar projecting out of the ground. These projectiles appear to be all over Nottingham, Appletree point, Strathmore, and Edinborough. Could they be remnants of the concrete posts that indicate underground telephone wires (as shown in the photo on the right)? Can anything be done to remove them? They have been reported numerous times by people who have been hurt with no resolution. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

It is illegal to remove these survey markers. A number of them have been damaged from lawn equipment but they are still usable to a surveyor. We will see about cutting off the protruding metal rebar pieces. I also have a picture of what they looked like before they were damaged.
