Good morning! The Code Officer has been to 11000 NW 22 Street on three separate occasions & has not seen a boat parked on the property. Please advise that the boat is actually located at 11000 NW 22 Street...Are you able to provide a picture of the boat & trailer? Thank you! -jal

Thank you for providing that. According to Code Officer Supervisor G Gramegna, that picture does show that the boat & trailer are parked properly to City Code; However, we will send a Code Officer out to make sure that the boat does meet the height requirements. Thank you! -jal

Good morning! Code Officer R Gonzalez did go out to the property on 8/4/16 & the boat was not on the property - I will provide pictures from that day that the Code Officer took on 8/4/16. I will start another Code case & have Code Officer V Spotts look into this to make sure that the boat is parked to Code & that the boat height meets the requirements. The boat is located on the west side of the property. What exactly are the "height requirements?" Boats are allowed?? I was under the impression that no boats and trailers were allowed. Please clarify.

I had Code Office Spotts forward the boat parking ordinance to me & I've pasted it here...It's lengthy but does lay out the requirements for parking a boat & trailer in Pembroke Pines.

Per City Ordinance Boats, Trailers, and R/V's are allowed on properties as long as they abide by the following guidelines:

1) No recreational vehicle, boat, or utility trailer exceeding ten feet in height shall be permitted to be parked or stored on residentially zoned property. (2) No special purpose vehicles shall be permitted to be parked or stored in residentially zoned property except in an enclosed garage. (3) No more than one recreational vehicle, one boat, and one utility trailer shall be parked or stored upon residentially zoned property. A boat adjoined to a boat trailer, or structure designed to be mounted upon or carried by another vehicle, when so mounted, shall be considered one unit for the purpose of this section. (4) All recreational vehicles, boats, and utility trailers shall be parked or stored in the side yard or rear yard of residentially zoned property whenever possible. It shall be considered impossible to park or store the recreational vehicles, boats, or utility trailers in the side yard or rear yard if to do so would require encroachment upon the property of adjacent owners. (5) In the event it shall be impossible to park or store a recreational vehicle, boat, or utility trailer in the side yard or rear yard, then said recreational vehicle, boat, or utility trailer may be parked or stored on the driveway, not less than seven feet from the front property line. (6) In the event a recreational vehicle, boat, or utility trailer cannot be parked or stored on the driveway as provided in division (B)(5) above, then the recreational vehicle, boat, or utility trailer may be parked or stored in the front yard, parallel to the main structure, provided it is parked or stored on a paved surface and that no part of the recreational vehicle, boat, or utility trailer may extend beyond the paved surface. In no event shall any such vehicle be permitted to be parked in the swale. (7) No separate unit intended to be mounted upon a truck for the purpose of converting that truck into a recreational vehicle shall be stored in the front yard of residentially zoned property. (8) All vehicles herein permitted shall have affixed thereto a currently valid license tag registered to the vehicle; shall be parked or stored with wheels and tires mounted; and shall be maintained in a movable condition. (9) No recreational vehicle, boat, or structure designed to be mounted upon and carried by another vehicle shall be used as an accessory building; occupied in any manner; or connected to any utility or electrical service, except as necessary to repair or maintain that vehicle, boat, or structure.

If the HOA does not allow Boats, Trailers, or R/V’s then the HOA will need to go after the homeowner according to their restrictions.

??? why did you use google earth? Who knows how long ago it was?

This is my boat and it is parked behind my fence and cannot be seen other than google earth. mmartin needs to get a hobby and stop worrying about my unseen boat parked legally in my backyard.
