Description
Sherman Place and JFKennedy Blvd. was just given a Citibike rack. This station takes up at least 2 area parking spaces. Resident said that parking is already at a premium and the quality of life is affected by placing this bike rack here and making it even more difficult for area residents to find parking.

Q. What is your suggestion?
A. Resident suggested that the bike rack be moved across the street to the other side of Kennedy Boulevard in front of Leonard Gordon Park where there is already a bus stop so that no further parking spaces will be taken. Resident feels that whomever is making the decisions to place these racks are not taking the area residents into consideration. Locations for bike racks seem to be not very well thought out and do not have the best interest of constituents in mind.
