Thank you for posting. I am the owner of this vehicle -- please do not tow! I live three doors down at 147 Livingston St. (I work and live more than half the year in Boston, which is why I have MA plates.) I'm traveling right now, but I'll move the car as soon as I'm back in town (tomorrow, August 1st). I don't believe I'm in violation of New Haven parking rules (the ordinance can be found here: http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/TRAFFICPARKING/pdfs/Parking%20Ordinance.pdf, section 29-55), but please let me know if I've overlooked something.

I have gotten a ticket for leaving my vehicle in a space more than 72 hours which is a violation except in designated residential parking zones which Livingston is not. So technially I think you are in violation. But now that you have identified yourself I am sure it will be OK.

Parking prohibited in certain places.

(l) In any space for more than seventy-two (72) consecutive hours, provided that nothing in this subsection (l) shall be so construed as to apply to those spaces posted as residential parking spaces in a residential parking zone created pursuant to section 29-55 of this Code of General Ordinances.
