Description

Trees on my street were pruning today.
[1] Why are trees being pruned in the middle of a summer heat wave? Its puts additional stress on the tree! Pruning should take place in fall or spring.
[2] Workers did an AWFUL job. Branches were cut hap-hazardly and now the tree is unbalanced and branch heavy on one side. They cut branches in the side toward my house but left larger hanging branches over the street. My neighbors tree, which has long branches extended into my yard, was left untouched. The tree is a redbud which I planted years ago and routinely trim each spring. Now it looks just awful. Very poor job.
